JCILPS appeals to follow ILP guidelines

Imphal, February 16 2023: As a part of the ongoing drive to check whether non-locals possess valid ILP or not, a team of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) Manipur along with members of different organisations of Mayang Langjing and Akham Leikai on Thursday carried out verification of labourers and staffers of Varindera Constructions Ltd (VCL) who are presently engaged in construction of the National Sports University at Koutruk and found all 700 people having valid ILP permits.
In a release, JCILPS co-convenor Warepam Second said that officials of VCL extended full cooperation in the verification process.
He appealed to companies and individuals working in different areas to support the verification drive launched by JCILPS and further exhorted all to strictly follow ILP rules and regulations.
Second informed that JCILPS will continue its drive at work sites and arreas where non-locals reside.
